Chef Jon Bernard and Lindsay Bernard are perfectly paired for the best restaurant experience in Roanoke. 


Jon graduated from the Johnson & Wales University Culinary School in 2007. After he met fellow food enthusiast and hospitality expert Lindsay, the couple married and established roots in Southwest Virginia. 


Chef Bernard and Lindsay decided Roanoke needed a place where their neighbors could enjoy an amazing culinary experience without the intimidating atmosphere. With over 30 years of combined restaurant experience, they knew they were best team for the task. 


In 2018, Jon and Lindsay opened Bernard’s Gastropub & Eatery in downtown Roanoke as the stage to showcase their shared love of cuisine.
